-When I saw the first picture, I felt a very nice sensation, because I perceived the notion that people is taking care their environment.
ReplyDeleteI think that if people use these bags to carry something, for example: their books, plants or clothes, the Earth would improve considerably, because if we continue polluting, in a very short time, it will exploit. However if we work buying and using recyclable products, we can help our planet.
In my opinion these bags are art, because they express the idea of a man to keep his only home, which is this blue planet… Maybe this kind of bags is not much, but if it is recycled… is a great advantage for our planet.
-The second image caused in me something inexplicable. Honestly I had never seen a presentation so original.
I think that for many people is only the model (the image of the perfume) a work of art, but for me, both: the design and the fragrance are a talent. When we buy or someone chooses a perfume to other person, is for something, SOMETHING SPECIAL... an instinct, a hunch, I do not know. I think the scent to soak into our skin makes us unique because we use the same although some do not smell like perfume.
For all that, I think they are a great work of art…

-When I saw the first picture I liked what was looking. I think that the recycled bags are excellent products because girls love using this kind of things. It is an interesting thing because I had never seen something like this before and it is a modern product.
ReplyDeleteI think that I can say that these bags are art, because it is something original, new, modern, recycled, useful and “nice”. If you look at them in a different way, thinking that they have been made to take care of the environment, these bags can make you feel different emotions.
Besides that, the colors, the form, the shapes and the style are represented with these recycled bags. You can use them in a lot of different ways, they have different colors and they can be used for all the things you would like.
In my personal opinion, I really liked these new bags, they look like beautiful on the people and they help with the environment.
-When I saw the second picture, I was not sure about what was that. I did not see any form, so I decided to check the link. When I realized that it was a fragrance I thought that it was a very original bottle.
I had never seen something like that before, so I liked it. It is something interesting. The material seems to be very elegant, and the product seems to be unique and new.
I am not sure if I would call this as art because we are talking about the bottle, not the fragrance; and the most useful thing would be the fragrance (and I do not know the smell). So, in this case I am going to say that it is not art because it is not “really” useful, and it did not make me feel anything (the recycled bag made me feel that the people is taking care of the environment).
I know it is very elegant, nice and original, but it is not good enough for me to be art…

The first image that shows like a bag I think that those kind of bags are art not for the only reason that they look beautiful there is more than that, I think that those bags are a piece of art because it make me feel that someone in the world is thinking about the pollution that make damage to the world like the green house effects, well that not the subject. So the principal reason that I think that this is art is because I feel that in the world there are also someone that is worried about the world, and in another way it also make me feel that I can´t be free so now I can say that it is really art because it has 2 principal characteristic of art that is made by human well i think because it is made of recycle material and that it make me feel something.
ReplyDeleteFor the other picture I don´t think so that is like a piece of art, but the desing of the bottle that contains the new perfume of Kenzo is really cool, but if we talk about the characteristics of art that bottle doesn´t make me feel any feeling and that is one of the principal characteristics of art that make you feel or make you change a feeling, and it doesn´t make anything for me so I think that the bottle is no art, but it´s true that the design of the bottle is really cool an different that other bottles of perfumes

When I saw the first picture, I have to say that I felt happy, because I am against the pollution and those non-ambient things; so the picture made me think that really, in other places, exist people who care about our world. Also I have seen other “bags helping world” made by recycling material, and they are really good and nice, but maybe they are not an art, at least not for me, because I didn’t feel an emotion. I felt happy for the intention, not for the object, as the same as I feel happy when someone picks up the trash on the streets.
ReplyDeleteTalking about the second image, it was the same thing. The object that shows up is beautiful and innovator, but it doesn’t cause a feeling in me. Perhaps, what is inside of it (I think is a perfume), can make me feel something, remind me of something, but the object as it is, is not art, at least not for me.

The images that we saw are only fashion things, made by human of course, but not everything that is made by humans is art, that couldn’t be because they don’t expresses the author feelings and they don’t make me feeling anything, so we can’t say that the stuffs are art, but they are new, useful and pretty but if it doesn’t express a feeling it isn’t art.

Well, the truth is that the first picture didn`t cause me any feeling or any other sensation and of course neither did the second.
ReplyDeleteThe first picture about the recyclable bags is kind of interesting because of their uses. I also like the idea of taking care of our enviroment using this nice and useful bags. People can use this bags in thousands of ways. For example I would use those bags to carry some of my school material and I don`t know, maybe I would also use those bags to go to my tennis class, but the point for me is that those bags are not pieces of art.
The second picture about the perfume, really pleased me because it looks to be a unique, elegant and expensive fragrance. And I personally like those things, even if I can`t buy them (ja ja).
But simply I can`t find nothing in that perfume that has something in common with art.
So, that`s my opinion about both pictures....

In the first picture, i dare to say that to me, it is not art. i didnt feel anything, i thought it was just another bag. In my personal point of view, i dont care much about bags so maybe for that, i cant appreciate it as well as someone who loves bags.
ReplyDeleteThe second picture, its kind of different. I think that if someday i had the opportunity to use one of those i would feel some kind of superiority because of the design.
With that feeling, the fact that it is made by humans, that it may contain perfume, and that i like shiny metallic things, i can that the second picture is art.
well as others have said, this pictures arent art, but the objects are art, that bag i havent seen it before, it is a very good idea to do one of those is like bicolor, when it is flat you see nit all white and when it is extenden you see it with blue, ti isnt a piece of art but is a very creative way to attarck some sights to it.
ReplyDeleteAnd the perfume well, as adriana said this article is very common in our life, yes of course it is, but this companies try to make perfumes and articles attractive to sight so you buy them, and this design particulary of that perfume it is very nice, very atractive, the form and the black clor give to it elegance and distinction above other perfumes and the way you press it so the lotion comes out is in the side, not like the others that is on the top, so this is a tricky and ncie way to persuade the public in general. I think the second one is a piece of art and the first one is only like a candy for the sight.

In my ipinion this images or pictures aren´t really art. Well everybody has a different poion of view so you decide if is art or not. for me is not art because this pictures doesnt show me any feeling. theya re just images that someone did or copied from somewhere.

This piece of art for me is really interesting. I think impressionism is really nice i really like it.
In my opinion is way more important the thinks that the artist have to say no how beautiful the art is for me is way more important the feeling that the artist puts in his picture.
for example this picture represents how the artist was feeling he wanted to scream at loud but he couldn’t because in this period of time art was being oppressed. The artist couldn’t express himself in the way he wanted.
The feeling I feel when I see this image is that I want to be free I want to scream at loud no matter what! right now I have lots of homework and I’m a little tired but I still have to do it so the only think I want the most is scream at loud what I feel.

ReplyDeleteI've seen very similar bags made by aluminium or any recicled material. I mean this is no new. But I still considering it as art. Why? Well, firt of all it is symmetric and that represents harmony, we are accustom to watch art whit symmetry. And in second place its nice to see a women walking trhough the street with a curious bag, and sure it would keeps our attencion at least for a second. As many have said before it also make us feel like some fashon company is taking care about the enviroment, but maybe the woman who bought it doesn't matter in any way the world and the enviroment and she just bought it because she found it beautiful. I mean it's art applied to a common product.
I wouldn't buy it because I'm male and I think it's kind of unsafe, because it has little spaces (and im not refering to Ingarden's concretization spaces haha) where the objets can fall out the bag. Even though i liked the colors and i think i would be nice to see a woman carring ir.
The fragance bottle:
Firs I want to tell Moy that it is not a cellphone haha, and you just let us know that you didn't went trhough the link. As other, the first time I look the picture i didn't know what it could be. Actually I though it was like a keyring or something.
After reading the explanation on the link I realized that it was the bottle of a perfume named UFO (Undentified Fragance Object, haha)and it really goes with it's form. I want to tell every one that IT IS a pice of art for two important reasons: First one because it's being exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the secon it's because it was designed by RON ARAD and that is like a warranty! Maybe you haven't heard about him but he has desing entire amaizing buildings. (look at his web page www.ronarad.com/architecture.htm) He was chosen by Kenzo to desing a sensual bottle for its prefume, actually I think the curves of the bottle and women's curves are very much alike. But due to the color I find it more elegant indeed. But as Caste says maybe the smell of the fragance could be the sensual thing of the whole thing.
For me the bottle its art, but its not beautiful. I mean it's so squeare and monochromatic, and very "cold" because of the material. Would be better if it was transparent.
However... its art!

ReplyDeleteIn one hand I agree with you that the bags are cute and were maken thinking about the enviroment and all that staff. In adittion I also thing that maybe the fragance inside of the bottle could be very artistic and of course the more "usful" thing on the whole.
But in the other hand. I don't agree that you don't consider the bottle of perfume as art because you think it is not usefull... But let me ask you one question: Are the most impresive works of art useful? I don't find the sculptures, paintings or fothographs very usefull and they are pices of art. So i'm not on the idea of thinking that a thing such a fragance bottle should be useful to consider it as a work of art.
Furthermore, I like to tell you that those kind of recycled bags are more common than you think. I've seen merchantists selling them on many places. So the fact that they are new is not true. Even though they are "cute" (as you say).

I also liked the comment that you wrote about the Mayas and their colorful things, maybe you’re right. I have to say that you made me doubt for a moment, if I was right or if I wasn’t. However they are not right thoughts or wrong thoughts, they are just people’s thoughts, and all the people are different.
